After moving into her new Nashville home with her husband and 3-week-old daughter, lifestyle blogger Natalie Kennedy quickly realized that her existing closet wouldn’t accommodate her large collection of clothing, accessories, and shoes, let alone her husband’s wardrobe, too. With plenty of square footage, space wasn’t an issue, but determining how to use it effectively and tastefully posed a challenge.
I have a lot of clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. It was so difficult to keep it all organized or to even know what I had.
Natalie enlisted the expertise of design consultant Angie Simmons with California Closets Nashville and together, they designed a custom floor-to-ceiling solution. Angie incorporated a mix of long and short hanging sections for the couple, as well as slanted shelves for neatly displaying Natalie’s shoe collection. Drawers with special inserts for organizing sunglasses and jewelry now kept smaller accessories neat and easily accessible, while open shelving provided storage for showcasing Natalie’s collection of luxury handbags.

allows Natalie to appreciate her entire wardrobe and find what she needs with ease.
