Jill was in the midst of adding on to her home when a friend suggested that she call California Closets Kansas City and connected Jill with design consultant Cindy Kelley.
Cindy brought an instant sense of calm to the renovation storm, a process that Jill remembers as overwhelming and sometimes “ugly.” Having dreamed long ago of a Parisian-themed closet space, she placed her vision in Cindy’s precise and professional hands.
Keeping in mind Jill’s vision of Paris,
Cindy aimed to infuse the space with charm and
purpose. Allowing Jill to remain very hands-on,
the two forged an instant friendship.
Jill K.Your closet is a very intimate space in your home. It's not really a space that you like to allow a lot of people into. But there was a certain bond that we formed. It really felt like family.
Cindy took care with every detail, including adding a full-length mirror so Jill didn’t have to use her daughter’s. Cindy also incorporated a well-lit shoe display and dedicated handbag storage to house Jill’s treasured accessories. The reimagined closet space is not only elegant, but is also the best fit for Jill—a balance that’s evident in every feature, from organized jewelry drawers to a pop-up charging station.
To watch this space come together was a dream come true.
